Velo Salo Backyard Ultra

The Velo Salo Backyard Ultra course is mostly forest road, but also includes a more challenging section of trail of about 250 metres and an easier gravel/asphalt section of about 400 metres. The course is run clockwise and is 6.7 km long, with each new lap starting on the hour. The race continues until only one runner remains, but unfortunately the organizers will have to end the race after 36 laps if no winner has emerged after just over 240 km of running.
