Race description
Riston Hölkkä is run annually in Suomusjärvi, Salon, on the Sunday following All Saints' Day. The event is named after Risto Nuurokse, a four-time world championship medalist in orienteering, who won a silver medal at the World Championships in 1978 in the individual event. The race offers competitive and recreational categories for all fitness levels, with routes primarily passing through rural landscapes on gravel roads. Riston Hölkkä will be held again on November 2, 2025, with the competition center located at Sisumaja.
