Riston Hölkkä

Risto’s Run is held in Suomusjärvi, Salo, every year on the Sunday after All Saints’ Day. The event is named after Risto Nuuroks, a four-time World Championship medalist in orienteering who won silver in the individual event in 1978. Competitive and recreational categories are available for runners of all abilities, and the routes pass through rural landscapes, mostly on gravel roads. Risto’s Run will next be held on 2 November 2025, with the race headquarters at Sisumaja.
