Tampere Maraton 13.9.2026

The Tampere Marathon is an authentic city marathon held in the heart of Tampere on September 13, 2026. The event offers a marathon, half marathon, 10 km race, a mini marathon for the youngest participants, and a marathon relay for teams of four. The route runs through the city center and along Tampere's waterways, mainly on asphalt and partly on gravel paths, offering beautiful urban scenery and a challenge for runners. The start and finish areas are located at Tampere Stadium, which is easily accessible. Race office open on Saturday, September 12 from 16:00 to 19:00 and on Sunday, September 13 from 08:00 at Tampere Stadium. The 10 km start is at Aleksandra Siltanen Park, about 2 km from the stadium; allow 20 minutes for travel to the start. Changing rooms and gear storage are available at Tampere Stadium. Marathon pacers run target times of 3:45 (uncertain), 4:00, 4:15, 4:30, and 5:00. At the finish line, warm soup, juice, and water are offered.
