Pirkan Kieppi 5.10.2025

The running season's jewel, the cherry on top, a long-distance running event mostly held in the forest, Pirkan Hölkkä, is organized annually on the first Sunday of October. Together with TU38, we organize the desired shorter distance, the Pirkan Kieppi, 14 km.

The start of Pirkan Kieppi is from the finish area of Pirkan Hölkkä, in the yard of TAKK's Nirva location, at 11:30 AM. Late registration is available at the start area from 10 to 11.

The route continues via Lahdesjärvi to Vuores, where runners will enjoy the scenery of this beautiful neighborhood. After that, the route joins the traditional Pirkan Hölkkä course at the Vormisto refreshment point, from where the race continues to the finish line together with full-distance runners.

Pirkan Kieppi offers two open categories, N and M. The event timing is based on gross time from the starting gun to crossing the finish line. At the start, you can choose a target time and a starting position near the start line accordingly.
