KOMIA Kyrkösjärven kierros

KOMIA Kyrkösjärven kierros is Seinäjoki’s legendary and popular running event, held around Kyrkösjärvi. The event venue is Kyrkösjärvi Beach and the Käpälikkö Nature Centre, where the start, finish, parking and event centre are located. The main distance is a 15.4 km route. There is also the shorter, approximately 4.3 km Pikku Kyrkkäri for young participants or as a jog, and the 400–500 m Mini Kyrkkäri for the youngest family members. The event offers a memorable running experience surrounded by nature and is open to participants across different age and competition categories.

Bib collection and registration at the event office from 9.30 to 10.45. Runners start together in a mass start. Mini Kyrkkäri starts at 11.10. Baggage storage and gear transport are available in the finish area. A café is located in the event centre. Changing facilities and toilets are in the beach changing rooms. Participants receive a commemorative prize. Littering in nature is prohibited. Participation is at your own risk; leisure-time insurance is recommended. First aid is available in the finish area and at the water stations. The event includes several distances and age groups, and registration is available online or on site. The course follows nature trails, and the event is held annually in September at Kyrkösjärvi.
