Itsenäisyysmaraton

The Independence Marathon celebrates its 44th anniversary in 2025 and will be held on Saturday, December 6th, in Kuopio, Väinölänniemi. The race offers several different distances, including a marathon, half marathon, mini marathon, and the Kultajousi Running series of 10 km and 5 km. The route is 5.27 km long, sandy and asphalt-based, a flat running course with aid stations providing water and juice for runners. Participants can register in advance or on the day of the race.
