Itsenäisyysmaraton

In 2025, Itsenäisyysmaraton celebrates its 44th year and will be held on Saturday, 06.12, in Kuopio at Väinölänniemi. Several distances are offered, including the marathon, half marathon, minimarathon, and the Kultajousi Running 10 km and 5 km races. The route is 5.27 km long, flat, and runs on sand and asphalt. A refreshment station provides runners with water and juice. Participants can register in advance or on race day.
