Finlandiaviesti 1/2026 is part of the Finlandia Marathon event, held in Jyväskylä on 11–12 September 2026. The event offers runners a range of distances, including 5 km, 10 km, the half marathon and the marathon, and is suitable for runners of all levels. The route follows Jyväskylä’s Rantaraitti, which has been awarded the title of Finland’s most beautiful traffic route, offering a flat and fast running experience. The Finlandia Marathon is known for its runner-friendly course, excellent atmosphere and memorable event weekend amid the beautiful scenery of Central Finland.

There are water stations along the route, with tables for runners’ own drinks beside them. Students receive a €10 discount on the entry fee (€5 for the Finlandia Vitosella). An S-Etukortti or Juoksijakortti gives a €4 discount on the entry fee. Cancellation protection is included for registrations made by 31.5; after that, the cancellation protection fee is €5. The event includes relays, the marathon, the half marathon and shorter races, giving participants the chance to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and great atmosphere.
